Cookie Policy
Last updated: 18 July 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a device when a website is visited. They can support security, authentication, preferences and website functionality.
2. Cookies currently used by TufKo
At launch, TufKo intends to use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the website and requested online services to operate.
These may include:
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
tufko_cookie_consent |
Stores whether the visitor selected “Allow All” or “Essentials Only” so the cookie banner does not appear repeatedly. | First-party | Up to 12 months |
csrftoken |
Helps protect forms and authenticated actions against cross-site request forgery. | First-party | Up to 12 months |
sessionid |
Maintains an authenticated session when portal or account functionality is used. | First-party | Normally until logout, expiry or browser closure |
The tufko_cookie_consent cookie records the visitor's
selected preference. It does not contain contact details, browsing
history or analytics data.
The exact cookie names and durations may change as the website and portals are developed. This page will be updated when material changes occur.
3. Optional cookies
TufKo does not currently intend to set analytics, advertising, behavioural-tracking or social-media cookies before obtaining appropriate consent.
If optional cookies are introduced, they will remain disabled unless the user makes an active choice to accept them. Rejecting optional cookies will not prevent access to the public website.
4. Strictly necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies may be set without optional-cookie consent where they are essential to provide a service requested by the user, maintain security or support authentication.
These cookies cannot always be disabled through the website because doing so may prevent forms, accounts, security controls or portal functions from operating.
5. Managing cookies
Browser controls can be used to inspect, block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may cause parts of the website or authenticated portals to stop functioning correctly.
6. Similar technologies
Similar storage or access technologies are treated consistently with cookies where applicable.
7. Server-side logs
TufKo also maintains server-side Apache access logs, Django application logs, form-processing records and performance logs. These records are stored on TufKo's server and are not cookies or technologies stored on the visitor's device.
Server logs may record information such as request time, requested page, response status, server processing time, browser information and IP address. Further information is provided in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated if new cookie categories, analytics, embedded services or other tracking technologies are introduced.
9. Managing your cookie preferences
You can review or change your cookie preference at any time.
10. Contact
Questions about cookies can be submitted using the website contact form.
